Our Five on Friday is....
Reasons Not to Find Out the Gender of Our Baby! Sonogram is coming up and we've decided not to find out. For a planner like me, this had to be well thought out and logical. Well here are the reasons:
1.This is our third child and we already have a boy and a girl.
2. Therefore, we already have most of the stuff we need for both.(I say most because I went through a phase of getting rid of baby things.)
3. My reasoning FOR finding out seemed incredibly silly against my reasoning for NOT finding out. (I only have baby girl crib bedding but my babies don't start out in a crib anyway, they start out in the bassinet, aka. being held 24/7!) :)
4.We cannot decide on a name until the baby is born anyway. If we knew what we were having but couldn't pick out a name it would drive me crazier than just simply not finding out anything at all. Who wants to do things halfway?
5. It is kind of fun to be surprised. It's a great test of my self control and patience. Plus, These past 18 weeks have FLOWN by! I can only imagine how fast the next half is going to go.
