Welcome

Hi! I’m Tiffany. I’m prone to using a lot of words to make things sound lovely. Because of that I have written and re-written this about a dozen times just trying to be concise. You just want to know what you are getting into, right?

Here’s what you’ll find in my little space: writings/musings/stories on my life. I have a big(ish) family; five kids and my wonderful husband. Topics include: homeschool, travel, adoption, child loss/grief, marriage and living a Christ-centered life.

We strive to live simply and love well. Thanks for joining me on this journey. I’m so glad you’re here.

Oh Ava

Ava's growing up. She's 3 going on 13. I know you've heard it before, but seriously, I'm truly amazed at how old she sounds sometimes. I'm not entirely sure she understands what she is saying all the time but she's pretty good at putting in context! :)

"Sweet! Our car died. We need to bounce it to Walmart to get it fixed"

After buying a flag to put on Thao's grave...."I want to take this flag to heaven when I get to go. I will wave it high so Thao will see me. He will see me and I will see him and I will open my arms and he will open his arms. He will run to me and I will run into his arms and we will hug. And I will say I missed you, Bub." (talk about joyous reunion)

"Mom, you're not wearing that to church are you?"

Laughing she says, "Your hair is so funny like that." Thanks, Ava.

To greeter at Walmart: "I have two brothers, one here and one in heaven. Thao is in heaven with Jesus. I will get to see him again someday when I get to go to heaven. You can see him in heaven, too. But only if you love Jesus."
