Welcome

Hi! I’m Tiffany. I’m prone to using a lot of words to make things sound lovely. Because of that I have written and re-written this about a dozen times just trying to be concise. You just want to know what you are getting into, right?

Here’s what you’ll find in my little space: writings/musings/stories on my life. I have a big(ish) family; five kids and my wonderful husband. Topics include: homeschool, travel, adoption, child loss/grief, marriage and living a Christ-centered life.

We strive to live simply and love well. Thanks for joining me on this journey. I’m so glad you’re here.

Some Kids Collect Rocks

Not MY kids....
MY kids collect cicada shells.
We do have rules about this collection though.

1.Only cicada shells are allowed in this collection (should we say "club"). I know you are all wondering, the answer is yes, we have found live cicadas, much to Thao's surprise!

2. This so called "collection" is not allowed in the house. It is kept in a flower pot on the front porch. Before it grew so large in number, it was kept in a cup holder, next to Thao's seat in the van (that was fun to find one day!)

3.Cicadas are NOT ALLOWED at church. No, Thao, not even just the shell.
