Welcome

Hi! I’m Tiffany. I’m prone to using a lot of words to make things sound lovely. Because of that I have written and re-written this about a dozen times just trying to be concise. You just want to know what you are getting into, right?

Here’s what you’ll find in my little space: writings/musings/stories on my life. I have a big(ish) family; five kids and my wonderful husband. Topics include: homeschool, travel, adoption, child loss/grief, marriage and living a Christ-centered life.

We strive to live simply and love well. Thanks for joining me on this journey. I’m so glad you’re here.

Five on Friday- Phrases

I think I've said it before, but I love to have scripture in my home. Not just a Bible sitting out or books I'd like to be reading, or note cards tucked away. I mean, I want to hide scripture in my heart. I want my children to memorize verses. To do this, I must surround myself and my family in it. For me, memorizing scripture does not happen if I tell myself to read it until I know it. I don't make the time to sit and do it. Or I do, but then I check it off my list. What I've found myself doing is hanging scripture around our home, places I walk by everyday, and I soon realize I know that verse, passage or phrase that I need.

Here are five of the ones in my home right now:

- For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9

- ...For the joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10b

-...In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world. John 16:33b

-Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. John 16:22

-Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Proverbs 3:3
