Welcome

Hi! I’m Tiffany. I’m prone to using a lot of words to make things sound lovely. Because of that I have written and re-written this about a dozen times just trying to be concise. You just want to know what you are getting into, right?

Here’s what you’ll find in my little space: writings/musings/stories on my life. I have a big(ish) family; five kids and my wonderful husband. Topics include: homeschool, travel, adoption, child loss/grief, marriage and living a Christ-centered life.

We strive to live simply and love well. Thanks for joining me on this journey. I’m so glad you’re here.

We {love} Dinosaurs

Remember this? One of my favorite days ever. Watching the dinosaur dance with the princess. LOVE.

That phase where he refused pictures...
Our dinosaur themed school week has actually been a lot of fun! I wasn't sure about it. It was actually supposed to be earlier in the year according to the lesson plans, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. Not only was it one of Thao's favorite subjects, but it was also the point we left off. Thao was in kindergarten when he got sick. We homeschool and so when he got sick we just took it easy. He loved school. I wanted him to really enjoy the unit we were about to begin (dinosaurs) so we decided to take a break from school. (Obviously, he was sick, but we often take off time between Thanksgiving and Christmas). I had such big plans for the Dino Unit. I was so excited!

So now, 2 years later, Ava is in kindergarten. I saved the dinosaur unit for this week specifically. I wanted to enjoy it and use it to remember Thao instead of focusing on what we missed out on. I am so thankful to have these 2 blessings to share these memories with!
