Etsy, Update, and a FREE HOODIE!

So here we go. Another update with not much news. Good things: our children are still healthy and growing. They are loved. Bad things: We miss them like crazy. It's been almost one year since we went to Congo. That's a long time for anything, but especially when you are 3 and 5 years old and waiting for your Mama and Papa to take you to your forever family.

And because it's been so long, unfortunately we have more costs. Back in May we were fully funded. But as you know, it takes money to eat, pay for childcare and medicine. And since we are the legal parents of some of the sweetest most adorable Congolese children I've ever met, it means we are responsible for their care. We're ok with that. We're actually thrilled, blessed, to have the privilege to provide for them in this way.
Parenting from another continent is quite expensive, though. So as we wait, we ask for your prayers. We know God is providing, we have been the recipients of this so many times now.
As we continue to wait though, we are going to continue to work to pay for their care. We would prefer not to take the money out of our travel fund, because as soon as we can, we want to bring them home without delay.

We are continuing to sell tshirts as a way to help pay for child care and save for medical expenses they may have. The tshirts and hoodies will make great Christmas gifts! Please consider adding one to your wish list!
